I am always amazed at the amount of love I feel from the Deadhead community we have here in the Nashville area. With the holidays right around the corner what better time to let our love shine and share the love we have. Come join us on December 5th at The Asian Cajun (used to be the Rebar at the Dam) (3248 Blackwood Dr, Nashville, TN 37214) for Santa's Helpers Jam for a day of music with Easy Green, Josh Womack, Tennessee Dead and Tin Roof Cats (maybe more? Wily, Tennessee warblers, Om-Cat, Persh? A man can dream, right?) with a Jam Session including memebers from all the bands! If you bring a children's toy or book (more specific info)and receive $5 off the entry fee (entry fee possibly $20), these items will be donated to Toy's for Tots, local church and (need a place for books). The location has a covered outdoor patio where we could hold a little Christmas Market of cool local vendors (working on the vendors). The Asian Cajun has a full bar and serves some the best Thai and Cajun food in Nashville. (Notes for David, so far Easy Green, Josh Womack and Tennessee Dead are interested, the Venue has agreed to that date, I do not want the bands to perform for free but I have no idea what it would cost. I was thinking split all the money from the entry fees between band members. The venue isn't asking for any thing to host and I am happy just to hear some awesome bands and give back some of the love I have felt over the past year)
